Traumatic Brain Injury
Traumatic brain injury is a very specific category of personal injury, and is a head injury to the brain, limited to injuries that occur from an external force to the head. Traumatic brain injury results in a complete or partial disability, which may include psychological and social impairment. While a birth injury isn't considered to be a traumatic brain injury, it is covered as its own category under personal injury law.
